Hi
I am having trouble with thermals on Eagle.

I have an SMD component on the top layer with a polygon copper pour around each pad. Thermals are turned off on the Polygons and on the SMD pads in the component library, but Eagle still puts thermal isolation between the pad and the copper pour.

Can anyone shed some light on this? - any help much appreciated.

could you please tell me which EAGLE version you are working with?
I do not totally understand when the thermal symbols appear. Is it in the Layout directly and do you use further polygons in the layout?
Maybe you could send your file to support @ cadsoft.de.
So we can look into this.

Thanks for your reply. I am using Eagle 6.2.0.

The problem is in the layout and yes I am using other polygons but the problem only occurs around one component.

If you can look into this it would be much appreciated.

I would not want to send the file as it is, but if necessary I might be able to make up another file which demonstrates the problem.
