How do you like the board edge defined?
Hello PCB-POOL,
I am thinking about using your service for the first time and have a small board layout that I have designed on EASY-PC (DOS), A dinosaur I know! The only option that I can see is to define the pcb edge with a 2mm wide track on a seperate layer. Is this acceptable for you? Unfortunatly pads for through holes also appear on this layer, would this be a problem or do I need to somehow remove the pads?
Regards,
Richard.

Hi Richard,
Thanks for your thought of the PCB-POOL(R).
There are many ways to define the PCB edge, and any
aperture will sufficiently do the job on the contour. However we do
not directly accept files from the Easy PC software family. Are you
able to extract Gerber and Drilling files from Easy PC?
If so then proceed here
http://www.pcb-pool.com/html_uk/uk_service_1.htm
Download the Gerber viewer GC-PREVUE, and read your Gerber files into this software.
Should you require any assistance in using this software please do not hesitate to contact us by telephone and we can talk
you through the process.
Thanks again
All the Best
