As I'm unsure which layers you refer to please use the below link for our layer stackup.

For example the distance from the top layer to the first inner layer is 0.38mm(cu to cu).

Unfortunately that layer stackup link no longer works. Could you please confirm that the distance from top layer to inner layer is still 0.38mm?

Also I read another post from several years ago that said you use a number of different PCB suppliers who use different layer stackups and thicknesses. Is this true, or can the 0.38mm thickness figure be relied on?

sorry. It´s a new sytem we use for our specifications, so please have a look to:

- Layerbuild 4 or 6 layers.

6 Layer boards will always be the displayed values!

Please understand that the thickness between layers is not that simple to be chosen. It completely depends upon your design and quality of assembly process. There also is a key factor of heat dissipation. To ensure safety you have too tradeoff miniaturization.
