Altium minimum solder mask silver and other rules
I was using the design rule file for Altium from the website (http://www.pcb-specification.com/images/stories/Downloads/deu_Altium_RUL_Datei_711.zip). The minimum solder mask silver in the design rule file is 0.254mm. But in the Soldermask section of http://www.pcb-specification.com/uk the terminologies are different.

Is Minimum solder mask silver = Minimum gap on solder surfaces?
But with 0.254mm, I am getting errors. My design needs minimum solder mask silver to be 0.1mm. Can PCB-Pool produce that PCB? If yes, will there be extra charge extra charge?
The the height of silkscreen for my PCB is 0.6mm and width is 0.125mm. Is it printable?
The vias are 0.5mm in diameter with 0.2mm hole diameter. Is that ok?

Thank you

Aw: Altium minimum solder mask silver and other rules
Hi libuz,

Minimum "Solder Mask Sliver" means the pip of Soldermask between the pads. In our specifications we declared the thickness with a minimum of 0.1 mm.
In example for PCB-POOL orders:
The applied solder pad is increased 0.075 mm around the copperpad. The remaining land between the pads must be at least a width of 0.1 mm.

This Design Rules is not entered in the downloadfile (. Rul). The reason for that is we do not know the customer want a soldermask sliver or not.
The previous .Rul file has been deposited with the default options, the rule of the Solder Mask Sliver should be entered if required.

When the soldermask sliver is ?0.1mm, so we do not charge for that.
The height for Silkscreen could be too small, regular height is between 1mm and 2mm.

The diameter for your viaholes is fine: (0,5mm - 0,2mm) / 2= 0,3 / 2 = 1,5mm annular ring around the drill is perfect to our spicications.
